Peer Review Manuals

Note to grant applicants

NSERC’s Peer Review Manuals are published primarily for the benefit of members to provide them with clear guidelines for evaluating applications. Applicants may benefit from reading sections of these manuals that relate to the evaluation process. Applicants who refer to the manuals should note that the content is intended to guide peer reviewers and outline principles rather than provide them with a set of rules.

Research Tools and Instruments Grants Peer Review Manual

The peer review manuals outline activities to be undertaken by evaluation groups and selection committees and describe the policies, guidelines and deliverables relevant to these activities. The manuals are updated yearly.
