The College and Community Innovation program is tri-agency funding that provides innovative solutions for local and regional challenges faced by businesses, government and communities, through the expertise of Canadian colleges, CEGEPs and polytechnics.
Applied Research and Development grants
Support R&D projects led by college researchers in partnership with private sector, public sector or not-for-profit organizations.
Applied Research Tools and Instruments grants
Strengthen college applied research by supporting the purchase of cutting-edge equipment and instruments.
College and Community Social Innovation Fund
Fosters community innovation by connecting the talent, facilities and capabilities of Canada’s colleges with the research needs of community organizations.
Idea to Innovation grants
Support universities and colleges in the development of promising technologies and in scaling them up to be tech-transfer ready.
Mobilize grants
Provide flexible, long-term funding for college applied research programs to maximize student training and community innovation impacts.
